Great ankle stabilizer brace. Bad sprain to my ankle playing softball, got the brace for support and further injury prevention when I was returning to play. A little stiff at first, but as I played in the game it flexed in the right places and really helped me run better and with less pain. Love that it has 3 forms of support between the laces, side straps, and wrap-around strap. The laces really allow a customized fit. I originally ordered a small according to the size guide but wasn't sure, upon recieving the brace it was a little big, had to cinch laces as far as they'd go. Wasn't what I wanted for a nice brace and proper support for injury prevention. Return was easy and quick. XS fit is perfect now. I'm 5'3, 120lbs, size 6-6.5 shoe, and about 11.5 ankle circumference when I tried measuring like the image on the sizing guide, which puts me right at a Small, but XS was much better. There are cheaper options of the same product elsewhere, but this site and company was helpful and easy to work with.

Great support

This EVO ankle brace is very supportive and comfortable, and adds great stability. I I wore it after I no longer needed a walking boot for stress fracture. . I had worn the ASO brace another time and had read reviews stating the EVO is an updated version; people stated they felt the EVO was more supportive. TRUE!! EVO straps weave in and out of the back and when tightened the brace pulls the heel of brace up to form better around the foot/ ankle. Support is great. Able to walk w/o pain.

Still be cautious

Daughter did research with teammates to see which ankle brace provided the best ankle support for a middle blocker. She settled on ASO. They did well until a few weeks ago when she suffered a 3rd degree ankle sprain and is out for the club season. The doctor recommended she wear her ASO ankle brace once the PT recommended she no longer needed the boot (weeks 4-8).
